Alarm & Electronics (A&E) has been a trusted name in the life safety industry since our inception. We have been and continue to be instrumental in protecting both residential and commercial structures, government facilities, high-tech sensitive telecommunications buildings, and manufacturing sites with our reliable alarm systems.  

A&E systems are all installed using up-to-date technology and designed to be affordable and easy to use, ensuring effective fire safety measures. Our field technicians are all factory trained, state certified, and adhere to the most current industry standards, while our office staff employs Computer Aided Design (CAD) and project management software to ensure projects progress seamlessly.  

Central Alarm Control (CAC), our sister company, operates a state-of-the-art UL & FM certified monitoring station. CAC provides advanced monitoring technology for all our systems, along with top-notch customer support. Our monitoring personnel are extensively trained, bilingual, and available 24/7 to respond to any emergency, reinforcing our commitment to comprehensive security solutions.  

All of our companies are fully insured and bondable, and we will provide proof of insurance upon request.

Michael Paul Donnelly is a successful entrepreneur with an extensive military background. As a General Partner and the state of Florida license holder for Alarm & Electronics, Michael is responsible for research and development, marketing, operations, corporate resources, profits and productivity, as well as developing strategic alliances in the alarm systems industry.  

Before founding Alarm & Electronics in 2007, Michael Paul Donnelly spent ten years in the alarm industry. He began his career as a field apprentice and quickly progressed to installation and service technician. He then became a sales manager and ultimately the executive operations officer for a large contracting firm specializing in security solutions. At just seventeen, he joined the United States Navy, where he served for ten years on active duty. Following two years of rigorous training, Michael Paul Donnelly became a United States Navy SEAL, operating throughout Central and South America. His notable accomplishments include roles as a Naval Special Warfare Communicator, Naval Special Warfare Sniper, Naval Special Warfare Explosives Expert, and Point Man. He also graduated with honors from Escuela de LANCERO International Special Forces, among other achievements.  

Despite his demanding career, Michael is actively involved with community organizations and has served as the director of the Miami Dade County Alarm Association of Florida for over three years, focusing on fire safety and the advancement of security solutions.

With more than 15 years of executive experience and a lifetime of being immersed in the industry, Russell Jones has developed a sharp eye for the inner workings of alarm systems and has become an instrumental part of not only Alarm & Electronics but also the South Florida low voltage market as a whole. 

Growing up around the industry, he learned about security solutions from the inside out starting at a very young age. Russell also manages the operations of Central Alarm Control (CAC), a state-of-the-art wholesale alarm monitoring center and sister company to Alarm & Electronics, which focuses on providing top-tier fire safety services. 

As a state-licensed contractor in Florida (EF20000930) and Georgia (LVU406848), Russell holds a NICET level IV certification (148325) for fire alarm systems and is also a FCC licensed GROL (PG00057290). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from The Florida State University and currently serves on the executive board for the South Florida Council of The Boy Scouts of America.
