Alarm & Electronics (A&E) has been a trusted name in the life safety industry since our inception. We have been and continue to be instrumental in protecting both residential and commercial structures, government facilities, high tech sensitive telecommunications buildings, and manufacturing sites.
A&E systems are all installed using up to date technology and designed to be affordable and easy to use. Our field technicians are all factory trained, state certified, and use the most up to date industry standards while out office staff uses Computer Aided Design (CAD) and project management software to ensure projects move along seamlessly.
Central Alarm Control (CAC) is our sister company and is a state of the art UL & FM certified monitoring station. CAC is responsible for providing advanced monitoring technology to all of our systems as well customer support. Our monitoring personnel are extensively trained, bilingual, and available 24/7 to respond to any emergency .
All of our companies are fully insured and bondable, and will provide proof of insurance upon request.
Michael Donnelly
Michael Paul Donnelly is a successful entrepreneur with a long military history. Michael is a General Partner and the state of Florida license holder for Alarm & Electronics with responsibility for research and development, marketing, operations, developing corporate resources, profits/productivity; and developing strategic alliances.
Prior to incorporating Alarm & Electronics in 2007, Michael Paul Donnelly worked in the alarm industry for ten years. He began as a field apprentice then quickly moved to an installation and service technician. From there he became a sales manager and shortly after the executive operations officer for a large contracting firm. At the early age of seventeen Michael joined the United States Navy where he spent ten years on active duty. After the initial two years of intense training Michael Paul Donnelly became a United States Navy SEAL were he trained and operated throughout Central and South America. His accomplishments where as a Naval Special Warfare Communicator, Naval Special Warfare Sniper. Naval Special Warfare Explosives Expert, Point man, and graduated with honors from Escuela de LANCERO International Special Forces, to name just a few.
Despite his demanding career Michael makes time to be involved with community organizations. He has served as the director of Miami Dade County Alarm Association of Florida for over three years.
Russell Jones
With more than 15 years of executive experience and a lifetime of being around the industry, Russell Jones has developed a sharp eye for the inter-workings of the alarm industry and become an instrumental part of not only Alarm & Electronics but the South Florida low voltage market as a whole.
He grew up around the industry and has learned it from the inside out starting at a very young age. Russell also manages the operations of Central Alarm Control (CAC), the state of the art wholesale alarm monitoring center and sister company to Alarm & Electronics.
Russell is a state licensed contractor in Florida (EF20000930) and Georgia (LVU406848). He also holds a NICET level IV certification (148325) for fire alarm systems and is a FCC licensed GROL (PG00057290). He earned his bachelor of science in exercise physiology from The Florida State University and currently sits on the executive board for the South Florida Council of The Boy Scouts of America.
